Since hosting our first wedding in 2008, we have remained committed to giving each couple personal attention, a thoughtfully cared-for setting, and a team invested in every detail of their celebration. We intentionally host a limited number of weddings each season, allowing us to provide consistent support throughout the planning process and on the wedding day.
Our Signature Wedding Package is our most frequently reserved experience. Micro and Exclusive Wedding Packages are also available, offering options for more intimate celebrations or couples who wish to extend their time at the Gardens.

Exclusive Use of the Gardens
Private access to the Gardens and gathering spaces throughout your wedding day.
Wedding Party House
Two stories of private space, just for you the entire day. Get ready, store your belongings, and retreat when you need to.
Garden Ceremony
A naturally beautiful setting surrounded by mature gardens and water.
Pergola Chandelier
Use of one of our chandeliers to enhance the pergola.
Reception Tent and Courtyard
An elegant, fabric-draped setting for dinner, dancing, and celebration beneath the chandeliers, with a covered gazebo set within the café-light glow of the Courtyard, providing a dedicated space for bar service by your partnered caterer.
Table and Chairs
60” round guest tables and white resin chairs are provided based on your final guest count. Separate chairs are set for the ceremony and reception, so we don't need to relocate chairs between spaces. Additional table sizes are provided for cocktail hour and dinner service.
Venue Host
A dedicated Venue Host is on-site throughout your wedding day for anything property-related. The Venue Host is not a wedding planner or Day-of Coordinator and does not manage your wedding-day timeline, vendors, or personal details.

Event Details
Micro Weddings are held between the hours of 10:00 am and 9:00 pm on select dates throughout the season.
Reservations & Deposits
A $1,000 non-refundable first payment deposit is due upon completion of the wedding contract. The final balance is due one month before the date. A $500 refundable security deposit hold will be placed the week of the wedding.
Our Wedding Season
Our wedding season runs from the second weekend of May through the second weekend of October. We intentionally host a limited number of celebrations each season, allowing us to care for the Gardens and provide an exceptional experience for every couple.
Our maximum capacity is 200 guests.
One Wedding at a Time
Your wedding is the only celebration taking place at the Gardens during your time.
Important Details
Catering & Bar Service
Rock Creek Gardens partners with a select list of full-service catering companies that manage food service, bar service, and tabletop rentals, including linens, glassware, and china, as well as event execution from start to finish.
Catering is required and not included in the venue rate. Outside catering is not permitted.

Event Insurance
Event liability insurance is required for all events and must be purchased through Event Insurance Now. The policy is the responsibility of the Client and typically costs $285.
Pricing is an estimate provided by the insurance carrier and may vary based on event-specific factors. RCG is not responsible for the final policy cost.

Day-of Coordination
All weddings at The Gardens require a professional Day-of Coordinator (DOC). Clients may hire an outside DOC, provided they meet all venue policy requirements.
For a more tailored experience, The Gardens also offers an in-house Day-of Coordination service for an additional fee. Our in-house coordinators are highly familiar with the venue, event flow, and operational details, so they can confidently guide your wedding day while working closely with your vendor team and venue host.

Reservations & Deposits

A non-refundable, non-transferable first payment of $4,000 is due upon completion of the wedding contract. The remaining balance is divided into two payments, with an installment due six months before the wedding date and the final balance due two months before the wedding date.
A $750 refundable security deposit will be held on a credit card during the week of the wedding.
Monthly payment plans are available and may be required for select wedding dates.
All rates include Washington State taxes and fees.

Yes. Couples are welcome to select their own professional wedding vendors to bring their vision to life. Catering is the only exception and must be selected from one of our partnered caterers.
All vendors must be licensed professionals and may be required to provide documentation upon request.

Your contracted access time determines when you and your vendors may arrive at the Gardens. Friday and Saturday weddings conclude at 11:00 PM, and Sunday weddings conclude at 10:00 PM. The final hour is reserved exclusively for vendor cleanup and checkout.
For Signature Weddings, up to two additional hours of access may be added to the beginning of the event for an additional fee.

We understand that plans and circumstances can change. If you need to cancel your event, you may do so at any time. Please note that, in accordance with our cancellation policy, all payments and deposits made toward your event are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Yes, there is on-site parking for up to 115 cars, with ADA spaces and dedicated areas for the wedding party and vendors.

In the event of inclement weather, the Reception Tent is available as the primary backup location for the ceremony. The couple and their Day-of Coordinator will work together to determine the best ceremony plan based on the forecast and conditions at the Gardens.

From smaller gatherings to celebrations of up to 200 guests, The Gardens can accommodate a range of wedding sizes. Your guest count includes the couple, wedding party, and children over the age of two. Our maximum capacity is 200 guests.
Children under 18 must be supervised by a parent or responsible adult at all times.

We’re honored to offer $500 off our Signature and Exclusive wedding experiences and $250 off our Micro Weddings for Active, NG, Reserve, and Retired Service Members. A valid ID is required.
